This "cookbook" is practically useless. Lots of really weird recipes are included among the 550. For example, who the heck would do French toast in a pressure cooker? Or chia pudding, whatever that is? I suspect that the 5 star reviews for this book are written by Russian bots! There are no pictures as mentioned in one of the reviews and there is no statement "As recommended by Instant Pot" on the cover. Trust me.. unless you're a total novice to cooking, you will regret wasting your money on this crappy book.. you'll do a lot better getting an idea of how to use the Instant Pot by checking out the recipes on the recipes.Instantpot.com website.Addendum:Check out some of the 5 star reviews.. many of them are so obviously phony that it's laughable!!
Disappointing but I didn't pay for it so that's ok. It isn't my type of recipes. For example, I don't eat lamb & there are a lot of recipes for it. I also discovered that I don't use my Kindle cookbooks much because it's hard to search without a table of contents at the back like most cookbooks have. I love my Instant Pot & found the easiest way to get recipes was on Pinterest. I'm not going to dump the cookbook though because I might use it for reference some day. Or maybe learn to like lamb.
Big disapointment. Appear to be a lot of bogus 5-Star reviews. If you like a bunch of beef & lamb recipes (with zero pictures) this book is for you! (I'm sending it back - even though they are charging me $5 for shipping.)

This is a pretty nice cookbook. There are several good recipes and several that are rather strange, but overall it is okay. For someone just starting out with an Instant Pot this book is easy to follow.
I loved the variety of ways that the instant pot can be used. The receipes that are in this book are easy to follow and canbe easily confirmed to your WSU of coming. For instance I brown almost everything first and saute the Vajun Trilogy, onions, bell pepper and celery. The adaptations are endless, these are enough recipes tl get you started.
The editing and prof reading is very poor including instructions for 2 cups of red wine, chopped. The recipes are heavy on curry, masalas, and cocoanut, with use of cumin and cardamon.
I gave this a 3 rating because several recipes used meats that my family will not eat. I am sure this is a good Instant Pot recipe book for some but there were too many recipes for me using meats I refuse to eat.
