What the heck is this!? Super flimsy little book...kind of like a magazine.Anyways, the first 5 pages or so are either printed upside down or cut off at the top.Thank goodness I looked inside, it would have been horrifying to give this as a gift!
Disappointed! I purchased the hardcover book for $34 plus and literally from the pictures that another user posted of the paperback, they’re almost the same! (I will post picture later) That small, thin, but hardcover. Not even a strong hardcover like other recipe books that I have. I was so excited to give it to my husband and thought it was going to be a beautiful book. The pages are really thin too and more like newspaper. Looks like I paid $10 for it...I’ll give it 3 stars-at least he’ll get a good laugh.
If you buy a BBQ pit, this should be the free gift that comes with it. And some of these recipes are probably from exactly that. I bought this as a gift when it showed up in my list of gifts for cooks, but was so embarrassed to give as a gift. And not because of the title, but because of the lack of actual content. Please, please don’t fall for this hack! The instructions for recipes itself have different ingredients listed than that on the ingredients list, and no amount listed in the recipe itself. No instructions on what to do with ingredients, just a list of ingredients. The book is literally a pamphlet of recipes easily found on the internet. This author is making money off a title. This book is a hack just to sale. This isn’t work, or creativity. It’s a sham. No work or effort put into the book. Truly embarrassed about buying this, and not because of the title. The tile is why I bought it in the first place, but the amount of money for this “pamphlet†is ridiculous. The worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. This is an insult to anyone who loves to cook or who wants to be a better BBQ’er. Literally: salt, pepper, brisket. Seriously. Don't waste your money, energy, or time. Please.
Bought this as a gift for my friend who will get a good laugh. I was seriously surprised by just how small/thin this book is. For $18 plus tax, it should at least have been a hardcover book, or contained more than 27 recipes. I hope he likes it, but it will look like a really cheap gift.
I should have read the reviews. Think cheap child’s bed time book then cut the thickness in half. It could have the best recipes, but still not worth $18
What the heck?? It's like something printed off a home desktop printer and it's small and thin. I wouldn't have even paid 5$ for this cheap piece of crap. How disappointing. It was supposed to be a birthday present and he literally thought it was some kind of trash, he took it out of the bag and was looking for his actual present in the bag.
I wish I wouldve scrolled the reviews. Bought this as a gift for Christmas and when I received it, it is extremely thin and the "dozens" of recipes is really just a dozen. Thats it. Maybe 15 pages. Such a let down. Im going to have to buy something else to give.
