This is a terrific book. My son just turned 3, and he is obsessed with the planets. He loves this book. The pictures are detailed and beautiful, and the flaps make it really easy for him to turn the pages. The text is simple and gives a couple quick facts about each planet. A great introduction to the solar system for little ones. My son hugged the book after we read it a few times in a row and said "I love this book!"

This book is designed kind of strange where you turn the picture of the planet and read the description on the backside of the planet. So when you're reading about Jupiter, you're looking at a picture of Saturn.

My two year old son loves this book. He's obsessed with the solar system, particularly planets, so naturally, I knew he would love this book. He takes it everywhere with him. The colors are bold and aesthetically pleasing. The planets are represented with appropriate dimensions. This is a board book, so I don't have to worry about son tearing the pages or destroying it so easily. The pages are different shapes, which is pretty cool. Definitely recommend for the little budding astronomer.

Other than mourning the loss of Pluto, we’re really enjoying this book. If I’m going to have to read it 100 times it’s really nice to have something interesting to keep our attention. Great pictures for the littlest ones and great learning for older toddlers

This is such a cute little book for kiddos! My son is two and adores all things space so this is a perfect book for him. It's colorful and easy to understand and since the pages are all different sizes it makes it more fun for my toddler to interact with. I also recommend getting a solar system poster (my two year old can say almost all the planet names correctly, except Uranus) and the ABC's of the Universe. All excellent tools for your STEM focused learning!

My 3 yo with solar system fascination adores this little book. The layout is little weird, as info on the planets is at the BACK of the planet described, but next to the next planet in line, so it's easy to get things mixed up. Luckily, my boy knows his planets, but for someone who is just learning about them it might be a little confusing.

I bought this book for my 3 1/2 year old grandson who is captivated by the planets and constellations. This is a great board book and one of his favorites as it pictures the planets as they really look and not some cartoon-type pictures. It includes just enough information on each planet to describe them and be interesting, and the pages are sturdy. He loves the flip pages with the planets in order. I highly recommend this book for curious little minds.

We read this to our sons every night - within two reads our 3 year old knew the key differences of the planets and the sun. Very easy read and super easy for a child to understand. Don't expect a scientist the book is very basic but laid out incredibly well for a toddler to understand. Highly recommend. Well laid out in the form of the solar system and prov ides the main "so what" of each planet and sun. Nothing more than about 20 words per planet.
